Terms of Service

These terms govern the restorative wellness sessions provided by Sonja Peterson, a sole proprietor trading as Abide Collective, of Franklin, Tennessee ("Abide Collective", "we", "us"). By booking a session you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, where you are booking for an organisation, on behalf of that organisation.

The services

We provide guided restorative wellness sessions — sound baths, breathwork, and gentle restorative movement — delivered on site at your workplace, home, or venue. Sessions are led by a certified sound bath practitioner. Participants remain fully clothed throughout and take part seated or lying down.

Our sessions are wellness and relaxation experiences. They are not medical treatment, psychological therapy, physiotherapy, or a substitute for care from a qualified health professional, and nothing in a session is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

Booking, rates, and payment

  • Session rates are those quoted to you in writing at the time of booking. Rates published on this website may change and are not an offer until confirmed in writing.
  • A travel fee may apply based on mileage from Franklin, Tennessee. Any such fee is quoted before the booking is confirmed.
  • Introductory rates apply to a first session only, at our discretion.

The full session fee is payable at the time of booking. A date and time are held for you only once payment has been received; until then the slot remains available to others. We do not invoice after a session has taken place.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed session by giving us at least 48 hours notice before the scheduled start time. We will refund the session fee less $100. That $100 is held as a credit toward a rescheduled session, and expires if it is not used within 90 days of the original cancellation.

Sessions cancelled or changed with less than 48 hours notice are not refundable and carry no credit, because the time has been reserved for you and can rarely be filled at short notice.

If we have to cancel or reschedule — through illness, travel disruption, or any other cause — we will tell you as soon as we can and will either reschedule at a time that suits you or refund any amount you have already paid for that session.

What you provide

  • A quiet, private room of a size appropriate to the number of participants.
  • Reasonable access to the space before and after the session to set up and pack down.
  • A floor or seating suitable for participants to rest on comfortably and safely.
  • Accurate participant numbers in advance, so the session can be set up correctly.

Health, participation, and assumption of risk

Participation is voluntary. Every participant is responsible for deciding whether taking part is appropriate for them, and may stop, rest, or leave at any point in a session without explanation.

Please tell us before a session if a participant is pregnant, has a heart condition, epilepsy, a seizure disorder, tinnitus or other sound sensitivity, a recent injury or surgery, a mental health condition that may be affected by deep relaxation, or any other condition that may be relevant. If you are unsure whether a session is suitable, consult a qualified health professional first.

Sessions involve sustained sound, guided breathing, and gentle movement. Participants take part at their own risk and accept responsibility for their own wellbeing during a session. [TO CONFIRM with counsel: whether a signed participant waiver should be required in addition to these terms.]

Limitation of liability

[TO CONFIRM with counsel.] Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with a session is limited to the amount paid for that session.

Intellectual property

The Abide Collective name, logo, the Abide Method, the content of our sessions, and everything on this website belong to us. You may not record, broadcast, reproduce, or resell a session or its content without our written permission.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here at the moment you book is the version that applies to that booking.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction.
