Abide Collective

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Sonja Peterson, a sole proprietor trading as Abide Collective, collects through abidecollectivefranklin.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

  • Information you send us through the inquiry form: your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, and the message you write.
  • Information you send us by email, if you contact us directly.
  • Standard technical information created automatically when any website is visited — IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — which our hosting provider records in server logs for security and reliability.
  • Analytics about how the site is used. We use Vercel Analytics, which is aggregated and sets no cookies, and Google Analytics, which does set cookies and shares usage data with Google.
  • Through Google Analytics: an approximate location derived from your IP address, accurate to city level rather than to you, along with device details such as browser, operating system and screen size.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, health information through this website. If health details are relevant to a session, we will collect them directly when the session is arranged.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your inquiry and discuss a possible session.
  • To arrange, deliver, and invoice sessions you book.
  • To keep the website secure and working properly.
  • To send you occasional updates about sessions, offerings, and availability, if you have contacted us.

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising. If you contact us, we may add you to our email list so we can stay in touch. Every message we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and we stop as soon as you ask — either through that link or by emailing us.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and your information passes through them only so they can provide that service to us:

  • Vercel — website hosting and server logs.
  • Neon — the database that stores inquiry form submissions.
  • Resend — sends the notification email when you submit the form.
  • Google — receives website usage data through Google Analytics.
  • Vercel Analytics — aggregated, cookieless usage measurement.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep what you send us for as long as we are in touch with you — there is no fixed expiry date. Where a booking follows, we keep the records needed for our business and tax obligations for as long as the law requires.

Analytics data is a separate case: Google Analytics is set to delete event and user data after 14 months, automatically and regardless of anything else.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will, apart from anything we are legally required to keep. Asking to stop receiving email is separate and simpler: use the unsubscribe link in any message, or write to us.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies that recognise a returning browser and record how the site is used. We do not use them for advertising, and we do not enable Google's advertising or cross-device features.

Vercel Analytics sets no cookies at all and does not track anyone between sites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on, without losing access to anything on this site.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@abidecollectivefranklin.com and we will respond as quickly as we reasonably can.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date shown on this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
